| Finance Ministry The
Finance Ministry is established to assist the Pastors with the
ever-growing task of maintaining control over the assets of the church.
To this end the Finance Ministry will assist in the documentation of
church assets and the preparation of needed financial reports.
Please
remember to Support your Parish financially. Finance Ministry Goals:
- To ensure we can budget 100% of the annual payments each year.
- To provide oversight of our expenditures.
- Offer Stewardship and Managing-Finances Workshops to the parish.
- Up-to-date computerized inventory of church possessions.
- Acquire property as we grow.
- Comply with all laws governing Church finances.
Finance Team Mission:
- Fiscal Accountability
- regularly report on all funds, debt, budget, and cash flow
keep parish informed regarding new financial developments, stewardship opportunities, and other monetary matters
- Fiscal Responsibility - making the most of what we are given
- using capital funds to optimize our debt ratio
business efficiency living within our means, including debt no extravagance: 80/20 solutions audit our books regularly inventory church possessions keep proper records (columbarium, parish baptisms and deaths, etc.
- Fiscal Sustainability and freedom from fear of disaster
- to have the church either debt-free, or with livable debt
