Bishop Robert Collier 

Bishop Collier was board on March 9, 1943 to Eugene and Hazel Collier. He was Baptized in 1943, Confirmed in 1955 in the Roman Catholic Church.

We was married in 1963 to Juanna and raised five children; Glen, Barbara, Cyndi, Yvette and Bobby. Juanna died in 1984.

 Hearing the Call to ordained ministry, Bishop Collier first approach the Episcopal Church seeking Holy Orders but was unable to realize the calling, left the Episcopal church and joined the Western Orthodox Catholic Church part of the Independent Catholic movement in 1984. Bishop Collier was immediately accepted as a seminarian and began his training. In 1986 he was ordained to the Deaconate and ordained to the Sacred Priesthood in 1986.

Bishop Collier was elected along with a close friend, Erwin G. Clouse, who would take theBishop Clouse professed name of Benedict, together as bishops of the to be formed American Catholic Church – Reformed.  Both Bishop-elect Collier and Bishop-elect Clouse were consecrated as Bishops by Metropolitan Archbishop Donald Bishop Locke(Barnabas) Locke in 1991. Bishops Collier and Clouse along with Sister Scholastica, who established Saint Benedict’s School of Religion in September of 1992, formed the American Catholic Church – Reformed. Bishop Collier was appointed  Chancellor by the Board of Trustees.

 Bishop Collier has been involved in ministries at five nursing facilities; conducting services on a weekly basis at Kal-haven Rest Home, Chandler Convalescent, Elm Sanitarium, Mariposa Retirement Center and Glen Park Rest Home.
